PAPER ON THE RIVER 2022

Arnold Grummer’s PAPER ON THE RIVER is an annual art exhibit open to all handmade paper artists.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

50 handmade paper artworks have been selected from 76 pieces submitted by 33 paper artists from the US and around the world. Exhibiting artworks reflect a wide variety of technique and skill reflecting the broad expanse of paper art and artist development.

AWARDS

Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding artworks chosen by this year’s Judge and Masterclass Instructor Hannah Bennett.

1st Place: $300 Cash Award

2nd Place: $200 Cash Award

3rd Place: $100 Cash Award

Honorable Mention: (if any) $75 Cash Award

Viewer’s Choice $75 Cash Award (announced online at close of show)

EXHIBITING ARTWORK SALES

Artists set the sale price for each exhibited artwork. Please consider purchase of pieces that may be of interest to you during Arnold Grummmer’s PAPER ON THE RIVER exhibit to benefit artist and the ongoing programming and community outreach of Atlas Science Center (formerly Paper Discovery Center). Purchases can be made any time between the exhibit opening on September 30 at 5:30 through October 30 during Atlas Science Center normal hours. Artworks can be picked up at the close of the exhibit, or shipped on request with minimal extra charge to cover shipping.

PHOTOGRAPHS POLICY

Copyright for all artworks belong to the artist. Visitors are welcome to take pictures of exhibited artworks for personal or educational purposes. Images used in any public or educational setting nust include full credit to artists, and studio links where available.
